Loving God with Our Whole Heart, Soul, and Mind, and Our Neighbor as Ourselves
I. Overview
Most of us do not realize how much we have in common with the saints. Inspired by the book, The Four Teresas by Gina Loehr, this workshop looks at how God “turns” ordinary people into saints! Using examples from the lives of Therese of Lisieux, Teresa of Avila, Teresa Benedicta (Edith Stein), and Mother Teresa, we will look at how one can “Love God with your whole heart, soul, and mind, and love your neighbor as yourself” (Mt 22: 37-39). Time for personal prayer or reflection will allow each participant to address the important question: “Which path is best suited for the unique person God created me to be?”
